Our vision: A world where everyone has a decent place to live.

 

Our chapter at CU is affiliated with the Habitat For Humanity of the Flatirons and we work with them on ‘build days where individuals can help work on homes they are building around the community.

 

Build: We partner with Flatirons Habitat to build and rehabilitate homes in partnership with Habitat homeowners.

 

Fundraising: We raise funds to support the work of Habitat for Humanity International and local affiliates. CU Habitat contributes both to our local affiliate and to Habitat for Humanity’s global mission.

 

Advocating: We advocate for affordable housing. To advocate for affordable housing means to increase awareness of the problem of substandard housing and to call people to action to initiate change.

 

Educating: We educate others in our campus and local community about the mission and work of Habitat for Humanity International.
